I’ve gotten so out of the habit of blogging, and I hate it.
Baseball has begun. My favorite sport. I probably won’t make it to Fenway Park this year, and have only been able to watch one game on TV so far. But the knowledge that baseball is being played yet again is enough to make me happy.
I went to a Death Cab for Cutie concert last Friday. I sped home to make it in time, and two of my friends who I had planned to go with bailed at the last minute. My other friend who didn’t bail was able to find two people to go with us, so that all worked out. The four of us plus a friend’s boyfriend ate at Hard Rock before the show, and the service was so slow we ended up missing the first opening act. It was okay, because we made it in time for the second opening act and of course all of Death Cab. It was an amazing show, I cried during the very last song of the encore. It was like a religious experience, very awesome.
My 21st birthday is exactly one month away. I have many wonderful friends who have said they’d come up for my birthday, but I have no idea what to do with them. Any suggestions would be welcome!
One last thing: I highly recommend Death Cab for Cutie’s new EP, The Open Door. Their best work since Plans, in my opinion.
While I have less on my plate for school I should have time to write a little more, so I'll do what I can. I'm crazy busy, and probably about to get busier... more on that by next week!
