And this is the chance I never got to make a move.
But we just talk about the people we've met in the last 5 years.
And will remember them in ten more?

It's been too long >.<
I’ve gotten so out of the habit of blogging, and I hate it.
Baseball has begun. My favorite sport. I probably won’t make it to Fenway Park this year, and have only been able to watch one game on TV so far. But the knowledge that baseball is being played yet again is enough to make me happy.
I went to a Death Cab for Cutie concert last Friday. I sped home to make it in time, and two of my friends who I had planned to go with bailed at the last minute. My other friend who didn’t bail was able to find two people to go with us, so that all worked out. The four of us plus a friend’s boyfriend ate at Hard Rock before the show, and the service was so slow we ended up missing the first opening act. It was okay, because we made it in time for the second opening act and of course all of Death Cab. It was an amazing show, I cried during the very last song of the encore. It was like a religious experience, very awesome.
My 21st birthday is exactly one month away. I have many wonderful friends who have said they’d come up for my birthday, but I have no idea what to do with them. Any suggestions would be welcome!
One last thing: I highly recommend Death Cab for Cutie’s new EP, The Open Door. Their best work since Plans, in my opinion.
While I have less on my plate for school I should have time to write a little more, so I'll do what I can. I'm crazy busy, and probably about to get busier... more on that by next week!

That's such an awful feeling. To grow attached to someone and have them turn their back on you. Part of the reason I gave up on relationships a long time ago.
This guy was bad news anyway. What bothers me the most is that so many of my friends turned their backs on me for liking him, and haven't come back. Even more people I have lost along the way.
I'm going to a concert this coming friday. I still have a thousands things to do between now and then, but I'm just going to keep my eye on that and try and make it through. It's definitely not going to be easy.

Seriously?
Wow. That worked much better than I ever expected.
I've had a very interesting week.
Things are going well with me.
Except for the fact that I'm super busy with school. When I'm not I'll for sure try and post more.

I shouldn't be allowed to post so late at night...
Okay you all, new life plan. I’m going to focus on positive things, and worry less about the things that bother me. I am going to accept the fact that I’m not going to find romantic companionship at school, and move on with my life. I’ve officially wasted too much time and annoyed too many friends by worrying about it. I’m tired of wasting my life worrying about boys and being liked and lame stuff. I’m just going to be me, be happy, and not let little things get me down.
But first, I need to go to bed. I’m still under the weather, and I have class in the morning. Boo.

A little better...
Okay, so my fever's gone and I'm feeling a lot better today. Nothing too fun to talk about, just a little bit of a follow up on my first post.
I tried the hair product I reviewed, and I really didn't like it. It just weighed my hair down, and it didn't even want to curl. I currently use Johnathan's Create Curl, and it's super lightweight and is completely awesome on my hair. So I don't plan on switching anytime soon.
I used the nail polish as well. The Top Coat I got is perfect, shiny and glossy and high quality, everything I was looking for. I painted my nails with the Techno Girl pink color, and it's a perfect, cool pink. It went on MUCH darker than it looks on the website, but with my cool, fair skin it looks perfect. The formula is okay, I think I still prefer China Glaze nail polish, but I love the bottles and the color.
Sorry that I don't have anything more interesting to talk about, I haven't left the house all week! I'll get to posting more normal, better content soon.

I've realized something.
What I care about, is not if random people or people from my past read what I have to say on the internet. What I care about is being able to look back, years from now and see what I was doing and what I cared about.
So here we go.
Today, what is important to me is that I went shopping. I bought some pj shorts and a tank top from Old Navy, but most importantly, I went to Sephora. Sephora has been my favorite makeup store for years, and today I didn’t have much to look for. Today I really wanted to look at Urban Decay’s Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss, but they didn’t have it in stock yet. But I did manage to find some other things I loved, and I want to talk about them!
- Korres Lip Butter: I saw this online, and thought it looked awesome. I tried it in the store and fell in love immediately. I normally don’t buy lip balms that are in a tub, usually I buy ones like chapstick that you just twist on. But I mean, how delicious does lip butter sound? It comes in several tints, I got the sheer pink one called Quince, and I’m already addicted. My mom got the Wild Rose color, which is a deep red, but the tints are so light it doesn’t look weird. I would for sure recommend these, mine’s for sure not leaving my side until it’s all gone.
- Sephora by OPI Nail Colour: Because I don’t have enough nail polish (lol). I bought the top coat, because my old one wasn’t very good, and I bought a pink color called Techno Girl. I haven’t tried them yet, because I’m currently wearing Tree Hugger by China Glaze (which I also love, of course) I love the colors I got, and I can’t wait to try them!
- Wave Shaping, Curl Defining No Frizz Styling Spray for Fine to Medium Hair by Living Proof: I saw this product online, but really had no intentions of buying… then when I was in the store I heard lots of people raving about it, so I bought it to try! I plan on trying it tomorrow, and I can’t wait to see if I love it or hate it!
Okay, that’s my tiny Sephora haul for today, I’ll try and keep you all updated on how the products are! Thanks for reading ☺
